**DONATE** to the IMOC does JAE fund!

Post by anna »

Hello happy campers!

Coming to JAE this year? Good choice ;)

IMOC UK are planning a big event on a huge plot sharing with Mk1 club and Roadster owners club (ROC) this year.

You might even have your name down already to come along, so you'll know that any IMOC member (premium or regular) are more than welcome to come along to JAE and park their '2 on the stand - the more the merrier! (if you've yet to sign up, please go here: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23468 and add your name)

Costs are £20 per car for the whole weekend which you'll have to pay on the gate on the day (if you go offsite and plan to come back, make sure you get a wristband), so if you can squeeze another person in along with your camping gear, then that's only £10 per head! Bargain! This money goes directly to the event organisers, but you'll be pleased to hear that IMOC will not charge you any more for coming along and being part of the fun on our stand.

However, it does cost IMOC money to throw these sorts of events, but instead of charging everyone a standard fee, we have set up a donation scheme, so that you can pay as much or as little towards the IMOC stand and entertainment - no pressure - if you don't want to pay any more, then don't!
However, we are hoping to make this years JAE the biggest and best yet, so depending on how much money is donated, we will look to provide more facilities for members, and more entertainment.

If you would like to donate, then there are (ofcourse) several ways to pay:

1. Paypal (who accept major credit cards etc) www.paypal.co.uk Send your donation to [email protected] marking your donation 'JAE'

2. Internet bank/phone banking/send from your local branch:
Just send all your money to:
Account name: International MR2 Owners Club - UK
Account sort code: 40-25-46
Account number: 91422898
Please mark your payment 'JAE'

3. Personal Cheque: please pm me for more details.

I will keep an update on the amount of money raised (periodically!), and will also let you know what your loverly money has bought for the weekend ;)

*PLEASE DONATE AS SOON AS YOU CAN, THE MORE MONEY WE GET EARLY ON, THE SOONER WE CAN FINALISE ORDERS AND HIRES WITH OUR SUPPLIERS!*

Thankyou!

Well, we do have one thing that has been confirmed...

ROC and IMOC are sharing the cost of a 'bouncy boxing' ring (which can just be used for general bouncing ;) ). Stupid, I know, but also good fun :D
Mark Edwards vs Craig should be a good one ;)

Other than that, we could look into getting a fridge or Ice barrel for people to cool their beers down in, maybe hire a large BBQ, bunting, flags, banner stands, projectors for ps2 comps/films (if member donations fall through), furntiure for the stand etc.

Feel free to make other suggestions, although I can't promise anything

My two ring gas stove with full sized gas bottle will be put at IMOCs disposal, so hopefulyl no need to wait for tea and coffee as there should be water available whenever, also it will aid in the cooking, especially if we are going to do a communal cook out as has been suggested.

I may also be able to lay my hands on a tea urn if IMOC wants it.

BBQ is confirmed!

Bring your own food, cooking implements, we will have some carcoal but we'll probably run out, so stocks of that too

tis fairly large (oil barrel type bbq), but you may have to wait to use it. Saves you bringing disposibles and bricks!
