A couple of events in the SW. (MK1 CLUB PLEASE READ)

Post by spudgun »

Hello All,
If any of you are interested there a couple of events going on down in the south west that, hopefully, we could get enough people interested to make a stand .
The first is the south west motor show at Newton abbot on the 18th of June. Its a biggish event by all accounts and covers a wide spectrum of motoring.
Here's the link.

Cost to get in if showing is £4 per car, which is pretty good if you ask me. If you do want to come you have around 2 weeks to sort out your entry form. Its downloadable from the website.

Next up is the Yeovilton air day. I know there is already a topic on this inviting everyone, but this really is a great day out. Loads of people will get to look over the cars and in my experience there is no other event locally that would get your car more exposure.
This years highlights at the airday itself is that they have an air display from the new Typhoon and also a JSF will be there.
Heres the link to that one.

Admission price to this one is a bit more. About £8 for the driver and £14 for a passenger. This is full entry to the air dat though, so it does represent good value for money. You have around a month or so to get your admission sorted out for this one.

Last one is the South west festival of transport. This one is being held at Taunton race course on Sunday the 16th of July. I don't know to much about this one other than than the location and I'm pretty sure its new for this year. I have no other info on it at the moment but will find out shortly as I shall be going even if on my own :(

Anyway if any of you fancy any of it let me know.
