HKS Camp, cable locations needed

Post by monkeyra »

I've got a HKS Camp system in my lexus, which i'm going to wire into the MR2.

I require:

12v ignition
12v constant
Ground
RPM Signal
Speed Sensor
Injection Pulse

I need to splice into each one of those.

Where would I find them on my 1990 Rev1 tubby?

Forgive my ignorance. What's an HKS camp system? Sounds very :gayfight:

Somewhere on the net there is a diagram for all the pin outs on each stock ecu. No idea where though i'm afraid.

it was fairly vaguely advertised so i dont think any sensors or juction box will be coming with it! I dont really need much from it that are additions, just the basic features! already have the boost and oil pressure/temp monitered!

I am already on that thread, i moved the heater controls! Looks good though! Another toy to play with!

Anyone sort this out? I'm after a +12, G and speed signal for another bit of crazy hks tech.

While i could go off the ECU diagram it's pretty pointless as it's in the boot. Need something a bit more local to splice into.

I forgot to say, the +12 I came direct off the battery.

As for the switched +12, theres a few of them around, I found with my multimeter.

The stereo provides one, theres another on the lighting circuit, and another on the heating circuit.

Quite tempted on an HKS camp setup as I don't fancy having a cabin full of gauges. Just a shame it has such a ghey-sounding name, eh?

For those already running one, any problems or issues you've come across? Photos of the install?

I've found this translation anyway...
