Sounds like a great course!

Not sure how much fun it would be in a FWD though! I guess I could go round in reverse?

I agree with the opinions on the best drift cars and the difficulty in drifting a 2 but dont you guys find it strange that the founder of the Opt drift Club (owner of Option Motorsport UK - Kiki Nana) owns a drift NSX and a drift 911 Turbo.

R/R and M/R cars !!!!!!!!!!!! Strange, what does he know that others dont? :-k

He's after a challenge! I assuming he's good at drifting, these cars are the hardest to tame... Challenge Extended..... Challenge Accepted :D

OK guys it appears we have half a dozen max. It won't be enough to get a discount on our own - but I have discovered that the GTROC and SXOC are having an arranged day and we can tag onto theirs.

The date is 9th May. I am checking pricing. Who is interested?

Depending on the pricing and location I will be interested.
If its at Silverstone then count me out as don't imagine that I want that long a journeyhome afterwards.
I am going to live forever, or die trying!

As much as I would LOVE to do this i'm afraid I can't. Outgoings are exceeding Incomings and gonna be struggling for the next few months.

Looks like i'm gonna have to buy the latest D1 OPTION dvd and be an armchair drifter for a while longer

I wonder what he learned to drift in - it's a case of overpowering the grip of a car and once it's mastered, it can be applied to most RWD cars. It's just some are harder than others, but by no means impossible :)

I'll keep an eye on this thread and on SXOC - I'm a member of SXOC, naturally, but I'm in the "outgoings exceeding incomings" camp too, so if I go it will be as a spectator but would be good to meet a few IMOC members at the same time as catching up with SXOC mates :D

Dont know what he learnt in but he had a pretty famous S13 when he first setup Option UK some years back...............just this sec found out that they've shut down althought the drift thang continues. :(

Shame, the real deal comes over to the UK and ends up going back to Asia. Well at least his legacy is still here.
