I dont like to keep going to same garage saying ooo my steering wheel is slightly 1% to the left or 1% to the right.. anyway of getting under neath and nudging anything? :?

Tis probably camber of the road all the time. wish i could get out of this fussy stage

yes but dont bother! just take it to the garage, for all the messing about you will be doing will not even compare to the minimal fee the garage will charge you, im sure you can find 20 quid to get your wheels setup right fella! :wink:

just been to garage just now.. set up straight but always feel the mr2 steering wheel is sometimes to the left of sometimes to the right... maybe thats the way it is, they go by being dead straight when checkin, soon as u get on a road, its sloaping camber and all sorts aint it, u find???

No mate, but i no what you mean, your steering wheel needs turning round a notch or two!
On second thoughts this could be a problem with your rear suspension! do you have any knocking at the rear or is you car bouncy!
If not suspension could also be the steering rack!

Jack up the front of your car and check the wheels for unuasual lateral play whilst someone holds the steering wheel perfectly locked!

keep a beady eye on your tyre pressures, and see if you got any abnormal wear on them aswell

nope do get a small clonk from the front anyway no and again on hard cornering,, back fine.

was perfect before depends whos doing it...
