SbITs and Peter Giddon.....

Post by misterT »

I've been having a few problems with my poor tubby recently, the first one was a very hot alloy and smoking brake pads!!

I did a search on our faithful IMOC, and that led me to SbITs and Peter Giddon.

I've read a lot of posts on here from Peter, and i know a lot of you like him, and find his advice very helpful, but i really have to say... i agree 110%!

I've never experienced such a helpful person in my life. I gave Peter a quick call to try and find out a bit more info on what the problem could be with my brakes, and he went through every possibility there could be, just to find the problem. Obviously the vast experience and proffesionalism of Peter led me to the cause within a couple of minutes! A severly seized caliper.

I ordered a re-con caliper from Peter in part exchange for my old one, (at a very reasonable price i must say) and the new one was on my doorstep before i knew it.

I even gave Peter another quick call when i was havin problems with a little brake fluid leak, and yet again, problem solved! =D>

Many, many thanks to Peter Giddon and SbITs. =D>

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED boys and girls!!!

Thanks again Peter.

Dean :D

P.S. Don't suppoe you know anything about water leaks? #-o ](*,)
P.P.S Sorry Peter, I spelt your name wrong!! #-o GiddEn.

I have to agree with you here.

Pete is always only too happy to help and knows his onions to boot. He's an all round good guy in my book =D>

peter is numero uno!
you can get kwick fit now or the "toyota f1 team gidden" but you have to wait a smidge

NO to be honest Peter will have only not replied if he is SERIOUSLY busy wth someones car - he WILL NOT leave a car half done, it will ALWAYS be AT THE VERY LEAST perfectl drivable until the job can be finished(should time be the killer and the customer NEED the car).

i only deal with people i trust - if i can help it!-

cars are expensive toys, and id rather "pay da man" than cheapskate it!

BTW!!.. Peter is by no means expensive...... he is a TRUE enthusiast(however you spell it) who has SERIOUS motorsport heritage, i feel very lucky to have him available to work on my car!!

er on that note id like to shamelessly plug Wayne at chipwizards - GOOGLE IT - if your after a remap etc call him for a chat your eyes will open!

back on subject..... peter will reply , you chose the right bloke!

Oh god yeah, if i'm doing anything major to my car i would be tempted to take the hit and drive all the way there just to make sure a real enthusiast was working on it. Would be well worth it in the long run, i know i'm getting a first class job and i also know that i am getting my money's worth and then some.

Wedding first then t6 :D

Cheers
