If your coming you can zip down the M56 into blackpool to meet us if you like. Takes about 10-15 mins to travel the M56 and get to Morrisons from the M6. If you want to meet us PM me and i'll send you directions to Morrisons. Its only 1 road tho... :D

May do that - pm your mobile & direction plz as i will decide on the day
thx

Sorry everyone, theres a chance I may not be able to make it. Starting and stuttering problem has resurfaced, basically the car can be running fine then splutter and stop and refuse to restart. This would not be good if it happend in the middle of the Lake district. I need to get the autochoke looked at/replaced and have no idea how much this is going to cost as Im not going back to my local garage as they gave up on the car last time. Anyway if you can take me off the list for now and if I get it sortded before the off I will come. Just dont want to let anyone down last minute. Bl00dy cars eh!!!!

Mike,

The North West has a meet on the Sunday before (12th Feb, Wiggin Tree, 12:30 onwards....plug!)
I'll sort out the arrangements there, but we will probably meet up at the Charnock Richard service's (northbound) between 9:30 and 10:00, that should give was ample time to get to Penrith..

If anybody wants to join further up the M6, say the time and place and the convoy will try to pop in. We should be travelling at national speed limits

I'll firm up the details after Sundays meet.

John,

Sounds like a good plan, should be good if all you guys and girls from NW can meet up and convoy towards Penrith.

Talking to Mac who is preparing the maps, its looking like a fantastic run with some very challenging roads, will really test your driving skills and ability.

MUST leave the Little Chef @ 11.30am to start the run, lunch will be around 13.00pm and the event will finish around 16.00pm with a drink in the pub in Pooley Bridge where we can reflect on a superb day.

Dont forget the picnic although there will probably be a chippy where we will be stopping for lunch and dont forget the camera to capture this marvel.

Theres still time to get your name on the list, simply paste it in.
Cheers

Hi John,
I'll be setting off from Blackpool at quarter past nine, hopefully with 2 mk1 in toe. If you make a stop at Lancaster Services inbetween J32-J33 we can meet up and then and head to Penrith?
