Anyway it's quite funny someone has posted this up as i've seen a red 2 with a spoiler exactly the same as that on around where i work..... I've only seen it from a distance and in all fairness i thought it looked alright. Don't think i would have one but hey it's different.

Correction: "the thing" that everyone is posting photos of is a wing, not a spoiler. Spilers do not allow air flow underneath them. They are fixed onto the trunk. This is an MR2 with a spoiler:



Although I am not a fan of the "look" of the wings posted in this thread, chances are they are more functional that what comes on our cars stock.

All of the aerodynamic reading I have been doing suggests that for wings to be functional they need to be at roof level or higher.
