met up with some guys with a couple of tatty old datsuns this morning and headed off to elvington for a trackday, unfortunatly i wouldnt be driving but had been promised plenty of passenger rides
Got there for 9 ish for sign on and briefing, bit of time to do some last minuite adjustments and check some of the machinery.
everybody looking cool
then some unlucky xxxxxx flipped his 200sx on its roof after track only being open about 10 mins nobody was seriously hurt i dont think.
Marshals did an awesome job as always, track was soon re open.
great day and cheers to Tom, Graham and Phil for the passenger rides.

Yep, just to confirm the guys in the roll were fine, if a bit shook up. What was horrible is that the owner was a passenger as it was his mate driving!
To top it all they were due an instructor session, if only they had done it sooner!
Thats the first roll we've seen at elvington in three years and the first time in that place. At least no-one was hurt and the apart from the front of the roof being pretty mangled the car didn't look too bad.
oooh and there's me in the pic with the car on its roof (red/black jacket).
And thanx a million Adam for those last two rubbing strips!

Bet they won't be on speaking terms for quite a while! S14a too, wasn't it? Not like it was a cheap & tatty track-only S13 (no, I'm not saying all S13's are tatty )
Good pics though - the size of the tyres on that Sierra!

Honestly Dale, it was awful, it looked like a caricature of a car. The bodykit was just awful, it just looked poo tbh (i think i'm being kind to the car).

That guy was Mark (my boyfriend)... he was really quite upset over it. He wanted to get Andy removed from the site, but i talked him out of it, just.

Well i'm guessing it must have been Mark as he mentioned he had some strong words, unless someone else did too?

Sierra - Nice idea, but the paint and finish on the car was at best, bad. It also lost its front bumper too and ended up driving around without one by the end of the day - the remains of it were in the same place as where the 200SX ended up shiny side down
The only thing it did seem to be good for was powerslides out of the slower corners - but you could do that in a MK1 SC
