Red MR2 MK1 South Shields sea front

Saw a MK1 red "F" reg driving along the top past the New Crown at 11.31am today. I often see this car in Shields, usually at a weekend and wonder if he is local? I waved, as I always do at another MK1!! Wonder if it is the same guy, who came and drove alongside me, on a dual carriageway in Shields, a few weeks ago?? Are you MK1 drivers mad then???? Caroline.

You know we are thats why we have MK1's.

Are you up for the run to the Lakes next month Sunday 19th. We have about 15 MK1's attending thus far. We are meeting near Durham and driving in convoy which is brilliant, A66 to Penrith, meeting North West MK1 owners and then doing the Lakes tour. Worth not missing this one.

Cheers, thanks for that, just confirmed my beliefs!! I shall have to check to see if I am working, see if my car is still up here, as it is going down South for some much needed TLC and also if I can get myself a co-pilot, to go along for the ride!!
