I think I know the 'look' they were trying to achieve.

Yesterday was sitting on a wall (as you do) waiting for a lift actually

I was passed by a Porsche Cayenne. To my surprise the trim around the windows etc. was all chrome. I started looking at a lot of new cars and realised they were the same. So there you have it - the foil is there as it's a bit of a trend on new cars at the moment (apparently) to have a silver/chrome trim....

Normally on a "muppet-ized" car you can sometimes at least see what the owner was trying to achieve (however dire the actual result) so I can only assume the owner fancied a challenge to transform a really good looking car into the bastar1zed son of the tin man from the wizard of oz and 'Terrance' the wannabe O.G. from west side Fife – Just a guess ?

Well am sure if I saw it once in edinburgh then either me or some other IMOC member will see it around the city again sometime. Its pretty hard 2 miss anyway, when we do I think we should all agree to run it off the road and put the poor things out of its missary, (owner and car) also once its smashed up with the owner unable to do anything maybe I could snatch some of the good bits off it like those furry eyelashes

This can only be described as the end result of some poor sap collecting all the old Max power magazine "How to mod your car on the cheap" cards and using his limited Blue Peter DIY skills to "Pimp his Ride" on one one weeks Job Seekers Allowance.
