From memory you need the D34 sized one, thats for Jap fitment and it fits in with ease.

You'll also find that the standard Halfords guide is okay and that a battery for a UK MkII will fit fine. It's a bit loose (it's smaller) but as it weighs a tonne and has a spare wheel bolting it in place you'll be fine. If necessary, rig up some metalwork to secure it even more if you want.
