VOTE HERE for MODERATOR ELECTIONS

Post by Lauren »

Voting opens today Monday 24th of October and will run for 7 days as from now, which will mean polling will close at 2.50pm next Monday 31st October.

Please note each member (including the candidates) has one vote. This means that you can only vote for one person, so please choose carefully. The top 6 candidates 'past the post' will become IMOC Moderators.

Good Luck to all candidates!!

should the polling percentages (votes cast for each candidate) be visable before polling ends ?

could lead to strategic voting !

No they should not! I can't seem to make it blind for some reason. As soon as i can get Ben/esmond to sort it out we will.

Yes they should, we are trying hard to make sure they will be asap. For some reason the hide poll option didn't work. Esmond is on it.

Yep, there was some frantic checking/fixing going on behind the scenes, but we've managed to fix it.

Apologies to all for this technical glitch.

Is this going to stay a secret ballot... ie. we never get to know the vote count or not? I'm just intrested to know what's going to happen at the end of the week? Will we be told our scores / ranks or just which 6 got it?

Well its good that people are getting serious looking for votes. Really i don't see a problem with people sending PM's asking for votes, its simply canvassing for votes which always happens in elections. I guess we are seeing people get serious and thats no bad thing. The way i see it if you want the position badly then it does you no harm if you have to work for it.

PS: no need to mention who it was.

Can't see a problem at all. If someone PMs you and you don't think they are suitable at all, simply vote for someone else. They can't and won't see who you have voted for...
