For those going to the RR day - if you are interested there is a convoy leaving the Thurrock Services on M25.

Arrive: 8am / 8:15am
Depart: 8:30am

Just a word of warning - I have it on good authority that the Police/Safety Camera Partnership will be in the Braintree district next week/weekend, so they could be awaiting between Hatfield Peverel and Marks Tey. Plenty of bridges/laybys for them to hide I mean set up in.

And there are major road works starting that weekend on the Ingatestone Bypass, mandatory 40's, narrow lanes and safety cameras, maybe even men on the carriageway. Being a Sunday, they will be able to have lane closures til about 10AM, so that'll be even slower.

Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news, but i'd rather say now and prevent points/accidents.

if you are not coming on the convoy, make sure you are at the RR by 10:30 if you are on the "runners" list - otherwise you may loose your spot to a "reserve"

dud you know very well that people don;t always reply to these kind of threads - i got hardly no replies last time but we had 18 cars in convoy

I'm expecting the same if not more..
I know Mark Edwards / Andi Pandy / Bry / Melvyn / Steve

will all be there !

na, dont like them, lol

should be SWEEET!!! bringing up a mate who just bought a tubby after being driven in my tubby, (he had an NA!!).
with an luck, EB downpipe and nur spec going on this week!!
hoping for about 30wheel hp up on last time.

we'll certainly be there my friend... 8:15 and aim to leave (convoy starts) at 8:30am.... last time we had bout 18 cars in convoy i think $\:D/$

I'll be at the services for convoy too. Mk1 is poorly at moment, having it looked at tomorrow (panicing now as I need it for Anglesey next weekend!), worst case I'll come in the tubby, not sure I want to run it on the dyno yet though, still loads needs doing... So *might* be a spot up for grabs from the reserve list if I have to switch to spectating.

I'll be coming down the A12 from Ipswich - probably setting off from the centre of Ipswich around 8.45 to get to Witham for 9.30am - I've got some banners to put up and also the video camera to setup to video the runs.
