Driving On Ice ! Be careful !

Post by JJ »

Watch it people, you know the MR2 has quite an aggressive toe in ( where the wheels are pointing towards the centre of the car in an exagerated way !) which means driving on icy roads to say at least needs to be approached with a little more caution as the car will want to go in either direction driving in a straight line.

Over and out ! :D

I put my trackday wheels and tyres on yesterday so that they got scrubbed in a bit for Elvington - my word it's scary!!

Maxxis tyres don't appear to offer much grip :)

Got to work today, 400 yds of snow filled car park greeted me :D
Small turbos - they're not big and they're not clever!

Just say NO to small turbos!

Hey micheal - michels sold his interim Volk racing wheels and stuck his stock 17's back on... get this on the rear... 315/35/17's ! Fit straight on !! You wanna see the foot print its got !!! I used to think the 255's were wide !!

I'm gonna try and devise a mechanism to get them on mine !!

315's on the standard rears!!

I put a pair of brand new 275's on the back of my normal chrome shadow standard ones yesterday and thought that was the limit - crikey, might have to go wider next time then :)

255's on the front at the moment but I got lots of understeer at Donington - will be interesting to try the standard sizes at Elvington but the car looks odd with silver wheels again.

315's!!!!
