Parts Suppliers

Post by Mike »

My Rev 2 Turbo is building up a job list of eye-watering proportions. Its been a while since I've done much with the car, I always used to find the parts I needed with the likes of MR2 Ben, Fensport, Rogue and Camskill but I am struggling to find the parts I need at the moment. I'm not a big fan of largely unknown eBay parts sellers which seems to be dominating the parts market. Where are folks getting their parts from?

For info, the parts im struggling to find are:
Brake calipers
Suspension shocks and springs

the ones you mentioned if your buying of Fensport ones wallet must be bulging hahaha

On ebay "Mr MR2" Steph is a straight up kind of chap he breaks 2s Ive bought plenty from him had no issues

Or folks selling bits, thas it in reality

for brakes re overhaul kits "Frentech" in burnley have a place for over the counter and have a ebay shop, after contacting my local Mr T and the parts manager he put in the direction of Frentech, i thought that will do for me

Ive refurbed that many calipers might go into business ha ha

Regards Brian :-)

TCB Parts are a very good option for a lot of OEM parts, new and used. Super knowledgeable guys too, really helps when trying to find some of the more obscure items.
MRMR2 on ebay like Wilkie says is a decent option.
MR2 Ben, BRD, TB.Dev, GT-4 Play, Hurley motorsport, Wilhelm Raceworks (USA), Racer X (USA), Hux Racing (USA), ATS Racing (USA).

Hopefully some of that is useful :thumleft:

For brakes (calipers and parts) both Brakes International https://www.brakesint.co.uk/ and Bigg Red https://www.biggred.co.uk/ are good, I've used both and also had many good reports on them 8)
