Blackpool Illuminations Meet?

Hi Everyone

As per my post to organise Midweek Meets again, they used to be the 2nd Monday in the month (I think )

It would be good to get them back up & running even if not every month every other perhaps, we all are busy, but be good to take time out to hook up with old friends & indeed new ones.

Even though resurrecting under the MR2 banner its more about re connecting & meeting new faces, so the car doesn't really matter

I was thinking Start with October? possibly resurrect the "The Blackpool Illuminations Run"

Thoughts folks & if your up pop your name on, if interested hopefully with some forward planning good chance for it to come off

Popping this very post on the OC also, and will look at other clubs/ cars.

P.S. just had a look for the Blackpool Illuminations to be switched on "11/10/2021 Monday 7.00 p.m. 11.00 p.m. so that fits perfectly 2nd Monday

Weekdays rule me out unfortunately. I work nights. I'll keep my eye out for anything happening on weekends

Sorry for a late reply. I would struggle to make that on a weeknight. It's a long way from South Manchester after work.

Weekends would be better if possible.
