So I have a 2000 MR2 Mk3 Spyder 1.8 VVT-I.
Yesterday, I remotely unlocked the car, opened the door, and the alarm went off. I tried to start the engine and it worked fine and was completely driveable. The central locking was also working, but for some reason the alarm went off every time I opened the door. I put the roof down and then back up to see if it was the roof causing the problem. After that, I tried unlocking the car and getting in and there was no alarm, but as soon as i turned the engine on, the alarm went off again. Does anybody have any advice on what to try, or what the problem is?Kind regards
