Clean Manual is a lot of money easy 23k+ you can pick manuals for 17k which need a good bit of work, normally re spray type of work.

Lovely pics red,
Nothing really to report
Turbo fitted,
Exhaust slowly taking shape.
BBS LM off to be made perfect, should be back this week. Will be diamond cut lips, gold center again. Got new bolts and nuts for them, going to cost more than £600 for the refurbishment + time haha. But will be well worth it.
Need to get my finger out or I'll miss the summer again!

That exhaust is a thing of beauty.

potential sale
So I currently have 2 Toyota's
This Mr2 and the immaculate Supra stock auto red twin turbo
So in the last 2 months my situation has changed completely but in a good way, un expected second baby due January, with this the plan is now to try and find the forever home before this happens which has happened. Our house sold, new one in progress
We now have to fund this sadly, new house does not have a garage, or workshop though there is an opportunity to rent one for a year. Sadly the biggest issue is I need to raise the funds to support the 20k stamp duty on the new property, which i hope the government will spend this well.
I will be offering both cars up for sale. With the intention of trying to retain one. (not told the missus this part)
maybe near the end of next month (august), will have this mapped and dyno printed.
Unsure on the value seems a bit crazy out there with standard ones demanding a good price( would like some estimation opinions), may end up having to remove some of the rare parts to make this more affordable seats and wheels.
4 and a half years i have owned this up to this point. i have covered 5000 miles or so in this time. only used in the dry and stored in the garage all year around.
However got a bit more to finish off between now and then, however the supra may sell so this could stay. i honestly cant pick one haha.

With your spec I'd be asking £15k. Once mine is mapped and painted I'll be advertising it for £15k firm (once I'm bored of it of course). The ones on here with similar spec sold for £10k. One of them was up for 2 days or something!! Good slightly modified ones are going for £8-9k etc. Long gone are the days of picking these up for £3k. They are worth anywhere between £5k-£10 depending on condition and the high powred ones like yours and mine have been sold far too cheaply. List it for £15k mate. There's not a lot of cars with that spec/power for that money.
Re: Shane's rev 5 turbo,mapped 569 BHP, For Sale
So dropped the car of at SRD in West Sussex, was about 8 Supra's there all various stages of builds. Drove lovely on the old map which was for the gt35.82 and his injectors.
Will be interesting times as I've not done the full update on here with my custom intake and exhaust work. When I get time I'll add some pictures.

Ah man, Good shout with the heatsheilds!
Re: Shane's rev 5 turbo,mapped 569 BHP, For Sale
Had some good results.
1.95bar
700 manifold Egt
Meth
Result 569 bhp. Estimated from the 480 whp, with a 15% transmission loss.
Wastegate 1.3 bar no meth, 400whp
1.6 no meth 434whp.
Will post some pictures soon.

So air Intake not sure but no concerns were raised about that, same as the last Dyno power runs ait were fine.
The Egt in the manifold were all within 40 degrees (720ish) of each other on full boost, slight fuel correction on 2/3, but I expected a slight favouring of these 2 nothing like the standard inlet or the aftermarket plenums that either shove the air to the middle or one end.
The 1st full pull with wastegate pressure and a safe map made 100more whp then he expected (300). It made 398.
Next stage will be to probably convert to coils to enable proper knock control per cylinder.
These guys normal tune/build supras upto and probably over 1000 whp, they took it for a map check 2/3/4 gear pull, both had speed giggles, which they rarely get haha.
Did a compression check after the session, results were 160 across the board so that's a great result. Built by Peter gidden 13 years ago (2006) and 23k miles.
Will sort some photos soon.

Re: Shane's rev 5 turbo,mapped 569 BHP, For Sale
will get the dyno print outs when i collect the car.
its set up as progressive boost and to keep the torque lowish, i will see how it drives then will probably end up back down at SRD later in the year with sooner boost and more torque if it needs it.
1.6 bar at 4200 RPM without meth.
so on meth its nice and smooth but rips your face of at 6k rpm apparently.
1.6 bar was 4300
1.8 bar was 5000
peaked at 2.05 bar this was 6k rpm. held 1.95 ish to the RPM limit.
max WHP was 480.37 at 7700 RPM
wheel torque at 4300rpm was 285 and gradually raised to 340 at 6700 rpm, stayed at 330 ish till limiter.

Interesting to see when a proper tuner puts proper ignition timing into a map unlike some other well known tuners out there that tell you you've got 600hp but leave it 10 deg short of where it could be......
Awesome result Shane.
