Nice progress mate, Love the Cosmos Blue !

About to pull the trigger on finishing my engine build with YVS and Fensport
mapping this spring. Be interesting to see what sort of power I end up with
also. Like you I'll put it on a dyno after just to see.

tbh i wasn't that bothered about putting the car on the dyno, i just got bored of the rubbish weather and not really getting much time to drive the car when the weather was bad.

But yeah it's nice to know everything is running correctly.

Seems the weather has picked up, thought i'd get some time in the tubby.

Having opted for bigger rear tyres has really changed the way the car puts the power down on high boost. Since getting the car corner weighted has transformed the way the car handles, it feels so planted and in-turn gives you so much more confidence through the bends, really happy with the car as a whole now.

Another question, I've always wondered about corner weighting for road use,
but always thought it would be thrown out as soon as someone sits in the
passenger seat. Did you get a balance setup for someway in the middle ?

Yeah it's a tricky one to decide on. But i went with it fully set up with just me driving.

It's the rear of the car that just feels so much better with or without a passenger in, getting it corner weighted has changed the overall feel of the car.

I guess it all depends on your geo set up and how you prefer a car to handle as well......... so lots to think about.

Yeah, definitely food for thought.

I think before I bother corner weighting I need to check my spring rates on the
coilovers. As ive always suspected they were too heavy. Don't get me wrong
the car handles amazing, especially since the front and rear Whiteline arbs
and full polybushing, but a little softer could help I feel

I've just found out i have another baby on the way.....so having 3 cars just isn't possible anymore.

So this beast is up for sale. I've loved every second of owning it but it's time to move on sadly.

Car is still for sale, i will put it on ebay when i get chance as this forum seems very quiet. Shame as i would prefer it to sell on here. But as the weather is getting better i was out and about the other weekend

Well the car sold on sunday and was collected yesterday. Gutted, but it had to go as a 2 seater just won't work for me. I hope the new owner will look after it as much as me and the last owner did.
