Im having trouble with my stereo.
As far as i can tell i have Active speakers - there is a built in sub behind the passenger seat which must have been factory fitted. The car is A UK 1990 MK2. It had the original stereo in when i brought the car and i have decided to put my sony one in.The wiring is a nightmare and although i have searched the forums non of the wiring diagrams match mine.
What i need to know is are all the rear speakers amplified? as when i run wires strait off the head unit to them the sound is minimal. If anyone also has any idea why i have two green wires and two brown wires in the wiring loom let me know!Thanks in Advance

i also have a security light on the dash board? red LED next to the rev counter is this a factory fitted imobiliser? as there is no alarm or imobiliser thingy on the key as such?Cheers
