After a week of chasing every other day and getting
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"Haven't been able to
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
speak to him yet" I finally chased on Wednesday and got Adrian on the phone.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I believe I have the outcome we all agree I deserve
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
( FOC map corrections
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
due to being mapped at 16v in the first place
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
) However it wasn't without a
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
severe battle over the phone
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
!
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I tried for 15 minutes to get my point across, to which Adrian basically
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
waited for his turn to talk instead of listening.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
At the same time accusing me
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
of trying to
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"Bully" him into getting free work
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
! I've honestly never had a
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
discussion with someone who doesnt listen to what your trying to tell them
so bad in my life.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
And trust me I've had a few with work
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
!
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
All I was trying to put across was that, if the car was mapped at 16v then
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
surely they should lower on map corrections FOC as it should have been a
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
warning sign in the first place.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Adrian didn't listen at all and just got his back
up, He couldn't remember the first time it was mapped by Tom and himself,
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
And said he would have to find the log data to see if it was mapped at 16v.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
To which I replied
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"perfect well then we will know if the alternator was faulty
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
then or after which answers my question for FOC or even if it needs corrections
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
once the alternator is re-conned"
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
To this I basically got,
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
"this would be too much work to find so lets just agree
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
to do the map corrections if its the alternator causing the issue".
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
He came to that conclusion himself even though I was trying for 15 minutes
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
in vain to tell him thats what I wanted
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
!!!
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Its a real shame as I've lost a lot of respect for Fensport over this.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
The amount
of effort I've had to put into getting a reply in the first place and then to be
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
accused of bullying them into doing what I believe and everyone else believes
is the correct thing has been ridiculous.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Im not earning any money from this
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
! I'm going to have to take a day off work,
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
5 hour round trip and at least a tanks worth of fuel
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
! I wish I had recorded the
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
phone call.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
It really was like talking to an offended brick wall without rhyme or
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
reason.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Maybe its his defence mechanism but its not how I would conduct
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
business.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
I will remove the alternator this Monday coming, get it re-conned and then
book in the map corrections.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
For when I go bigger turbo etc with YVS I
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
will certainly be considering another mapper.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
Shame, I really like building business relationships with companies.
