ust wondered if anyone is interested in a silicone hose kit for the MR2 turbo?
Pretty much all the main colours are available
Red
Blue
Green
Black
Yellow
Purple
The kit in question is for the stock Mr2 intercooler and is identical to OEM not like the Samco pipes which are designed around using a different dump valve. Prices should be around £70 to you door which is much cheaper.
If you have an aftermarket intercooler kit I can also supply the replacement pipework for that as well (if you want matching pipes). Prices for the aftermarket kits will have to be worked out but I suspect them to be cheaper than the stock kit as less hose is needed. Please get in touch so I can work out the order.
Numbers needed in the GB are ideally 20 or more - if I can gauge the interest then I can speak to the manufacturer to see if its worth them doing the job.
Quality is top notch from a reputed manufacturer.
Pictures to follow as soon as I can find them on my HD! Needless to say they bling the engine bay up and look good.
Cheers
James

I'm in. any idea where to get good quality mikalor style clamps from too? (maybe incluce them in the kit?)
I have an ARC intercooler which uses 3 small pieces of hose instead of the 1 long piece as on the stock item. but the rest is the same as stock.
cheers!

Re: Silicone hose kits (Turbo - inlet piping)
Hi Steve,
Thanks for the pictures mate, I was hoping you would come through on that one
Cool hows the Lucky 7? I couldnt get them cheap enough on the GB for everyone to be interested so I gave it a miss as I was a bit low on funds at that point. Still I have a Quadard coming which was a freebie with my mobile phone deal (basically mini quad - and you can drift them!)
I may get a Lucky 7 at some point but I struggled riding the mini moto so I went for a quad instead. If your interested Cheddar do a track night for the Moto's every Mon, Wed, Fri for £15 for as long as you want - Would be cool to hook up and go for a blat
Cheers

Re: Silicone hose kits (Turbo - inlet piping)
Danny,
I can sort the Mikalor clams as well if you want - prices to follow (need to hunt around for the best price as these vary greatly)
I can also do a kit for the ARC intercooler, you will need to do me a small favour though and measure the piping lengths and internal diameters of the additional hose sections that ARC supply with the kit.
TBH you kit should be alot cheaper than the OEM kit as you effectivley wont need the formed long hose which bumps costs up.
What colour do you want?
Cheers

Scroll up to Philz's post and you will see the kit in red, sorry its not a close up but Philz's car is on the stock IC. The hose quality is top notch and the company in question supply alot of race and rally teams.

Re: Silicone hose kits (Turbo - inlet piping)
Coolant hoses are a possibility, and the company I will be using are very keen to fabricate a set.
Obviously I need some spare hoses which can be used for tooling purposes before they can make the finished article. I tried tracking some down but didnt get far as I was pre occupied with my engine build at the time.
If anyone can help me out with these spare hoses then that would be great. i will ask around.
Cheers

Re: Silicone hose kits (Turbo - inlet piping)
I may be able to provide the original hoses you need to work from. It just depends when i get chance to get at my car as it's waiting the engine coming out for a rebuild this winter, and i'm v busy at the minute.
I'll let you know if i get anywhere with it.
Cheers

Need to get a bit more interest really mate, so far its only a few people wanting them the bigger the order the greater preference we have with the maker.
Clamps wont be an issue, as those will just be off the shelf.
Cheers
