Colour co-ordination in engine bay.

I'm about to embark on a complete clean and tidy of the engine & engine bay on my Mk 2, Rev 2 3SGTE. The car is currently red (pink) and will be resprayed to original 3E5 as the last stage. The engine is currently out so I can be bold.

I've got no colour co-ordination and rely on the wife to dress me so need the help of the forum to get the colours right.

I have a set of red Samcos and all vac/air lines are red.
I've searched the forum and can see some colour combos for the rocker cover, inlet & exhaust manifolds and engine brace bar. I also have an aftermarket engine brace (TRD style) that will be fitted.

What colour combo should I be going for?
I will post pics once complete in July as this is when the body is booked into the spray shop.

Off topic.. isn't rev2 original colour 3J6 if you're looking to stay original?

I've considered anthracite but I want bright so I'll be changing all to gold next winter but blue does look fantastic
White or black would look good too, best advice type in google "Red car, xxxxx engine bay" (xxxxx meaning all the colours you can think of under the sun)
