Not sure on exact prices mate, but according to Pete, around a tenner each.

Re: 1994 MR2 GT turbo T-bar
Right, got my T bar panel gutter trims refurbished over the weekend.
Finding it hard to find any free time these days!!

First, a picture of the state of the gutter trims:

Faded and generally looking untidy.
Other side was pretty much the same.

T tops removed, gutters masked up, flatted off with 1000 grit sand paper and cleaned with white spirit.
2 coats of primer applied and left to dry for 24 hours:

Once left for 24 hours, flatted off with 1000 grit sandpaper.
Cleaned and given 3 coats of satin black paint.
Left for 24 hours to dry.

Masking removed:

Happy with the results.
Looks like a factory finish.

T tops refitted to the car, along with the shades:

Another job off the list, happy with the results.

Great transformation on the car.
Lots of nice parts.
I like the detailing you have done.

The annoying thing with these Jim is, Toyota for some unknown reason stopped selling the other side of one of those protectors.

If you look at the picture the part number is the same.

Basically means only one side of the protector is sticky

You have to add your own adhesive to the other side

Edit, this only relates to Rev 5 spoiler not Rev 3

The part number i have is 76881-17020

(Right) side so only good for one side of the spoiler.

Please forgive me if my logic is sending me nonsense

Sorry if that doesn't make sense, its late!

Thanks for the comments

Regarding the spoiler gaskets.

Re: 1994 MR2 GT turbo T-bar
The reason i've always liked your car so much is the attention to detail.
It is often the little bits that really stick out when you do something.
I think a car should look as good up close as it does from a distance.

Re: 1994 MR2 GT turbo T-bar
That is just lovely.
deepcar autobodies always do such an awesome job

Re: 1994 MR2 GT turbo T-bar
Well.
After 3 and a half months after the spoiler was delivered, it's now on the car.

Firstly, the gaskets took an age to arrive from Toyota after them getting the order wrong.
Then one of the boot lid bolts snapped off in the boot lid.

Then Pete had no drill bits so had to order some resulting in another wait.

That all aside, it's now on the car.
Only pics are of the car in the garage as it's p1$$ing it down.
I'll grab some more when the weather pics up and I can get the car out for a blast.

But for now, the Bomex drift wing is fitted and looking good.
Fits in well I think:

In addition to the Bomex wing, you can see my freshly refurbished Rev 3 rear light tinted borders.

Only kidding.

Re: 1994 MR2 GT turbo T-bar
Cheers mate, taken more than long enough, but happy enough with it.

Also got my hydro-dipped T bar panels back.
Will give them a clean and chuck them in the for sale section.

Cheers Phil!

How's yours going? Eagerly awaiting updates!!

Re: 1994 MR2 GT turbo T-bar
Well with today being cloudy, dry and sunny spells, I got the car out of the garage, washed it and took it for a 2 hour drive round the back roads.

Few pics:

Not much else I want to do to it now, just drive it and maintain it.
