F40 Engine Lid
Hi all, Iv got a rev2 turbo and really want one of them f40 engine lids, however that means losing the fans on the engine lid.
Yes or No?

Re: F40 Engine Lid
Fans would be the least of the issues, water ingress is more of a problem.

would need to find some way of protecting the electrics from rain unless it's a dray day only car and lives in a garage.

sorry thinking of the 355 engine cover, f40 a few people have them.
no fans isn't going to be an issue.
water would only be a problem depending on the quality of the cover you are looking at and the fitment.

Re: F40 Engine Lid
I still run a turbo engine cover and inspection panels under my F40 cover

So you could run a cover with fans in if you wanted

Gary supplied my F40 cover http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/profile.ph ... le&u=24012 here is a video of removing cover on his old car
