ICE novice needs help.

Post by adam maclean »

I don't know that much about ICE so id like some advice from you guys before I go to the local ICE store and get spoken to like a small child. Im after some tweeters (I think thats right  ) to replace the speakers behind the grill next to the a piller. What do you recommend, Ive got Kenwwod speakers behind the seats, should I keep to the same make? I also don't want to pay much so what do you recomend.

you would probably be best getting a component set. These would replace the speakers behind the door panel and the tweeters would come seperate to the woofer and you could have these replace the originals on the a pillar!

Yep i agree with Neil_turbo.

If you get a decent set of components (not co-axials), then you will get a much better sound and im sure you would be more than happy!

I got a pair of Focal 165's, cost me £120 but i dont need any other speakers in the car as they sound fantastic, i disconnected all the others!

It all depends on your budget!
