... but starting to think about next year and jumping up a turbo size.Although previously discussed upping the TD06 specs, i'm just not convinced it's the way I want to go.
There's not a lot of proven dyno charts out there to show what i'd gain, and with newer technology on the market i think i should opt for that.However.
... i'm a tight ar$e.My goal is circa 450hp.
I know the radtech may be a throttle at that point, but i'll take that and run with it. I see that Tuning Developments do a GT series kit for
£2k but it made me wonder how much cheaper (i.e dont ready bodge) could it be done?I'd like an externally wastegated
(I guess) GT3076 or equivilent - completely open to ideas here guys.So i guess i would need:
Downpipe
Screamer pipe
Manifold to Turbo converter
(?)Tial Wastegate.
Has anyone had this made up? What was the cost?
I guess a turbo would be circa
£1k, so is it cheaper to have the other lot made up to suit? I dont have the ability to do myself so reliant on someone good to fab it up....Cheers
