I run 2 different sets of wheels in different sizes and the problem remains regardless:

17's = 215/40/17 and 235/40/17

16's = 205/45/16 and 225/45/16

Can you post a list of exactly what you've changed so far?

Did you ever get a 4-wheel laser alignment?

Sorry if you've already had it checked but if not it can have a serious effect on how the car drives. Sometimes when I've changed suspension parts and go to get an alignment I feel like I'm actually struggling to keep the car on the road on the way there. It can seriously be that bad especially if you have some mental rear toe settings. =P~

I've had the geo done by a race prep garage, I will get it done by laser next but don't want to waste another hundred on this if I then have to have it done again. Vicious circle!

Ooh, who are they then? Been on imoc since 2002 and never heard of them. I'm only 10 minutes away too!

Another recommendation for getting the geometry checked. I was in the same boat not wanting to drive the car, asking if a specialist or another owner would be willing to drive it and give me feedback etc.

My MR2 kept trying to kill me and felt generally unstable over most road surfaces, getting the geometry reset to my spec really helped thanks to the advice of guys on here :thumleft:

However in my case I think the biggest issue was a pair of front AD08R tyres I'd bought part-worn on Ebay - they must've been smashed into a kerb or something because when it finally came time to replace them with a brand new pair the car was instantly stable. Nothing to do with tread depth etc. as it wasn't losing traction, just weaving all over the place. Also the tyre guys put 31psi in the fronts and I've found that to be perfect, rears are just a touch more.

Hoping some of that might help :)

Iv had my tracking done about 3 times and never helped sadly, like I said when i put bigger wheels on the back it made the problem even worse put my old ones back on and I can deal with it but the problem is still there, i wonder if all the bushes just need rehauling..?

Overall I'm just not sure where to start... Is there anyone on the Lincolnshire area willing to have a look?

There is a big difference between tracking and four wheel alignment.
