MR2 DRAG-STRIP DAY (Santa Pod) - 25th Sept - THE RESULTS

Post by Icsunonove »

Here are the results from Santa Pod. Unfortunately I can't work out how to display a table in the post. In the meantime I have hosted it on my website. Click link below:

http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/tom ... _phpBB.htm

PS Anyone know how to post a table in phpBB? :?

Tony,

I have a confession to make.... :(

I know I said I would buy your kit next year when I had saved up enough cash, but I found one on eBay at a reasonable price, so I bought it. (Wizards of NOS wet kit, like the one you are going to sell). I fitted it to my SC running initially +25 jetting. It does work but I have an overfuelling problem and I was nervous using it because I had a flat spot at 5,000rpm. I am building a Air / Fuel Ratio meter to find out what's wrong.

Simon has been running NOS for a while. He was running +100hp but he blew an oil seal and is now running +75hp (I think). He won't be able to answer himself 'cos his pc is not installed at the moment.

His gas supplier let him down, so I lent him my bottle! We lined up together and I missed 3rd gear #-o and he beat me!

Tom - just on your tables problem, I'm sorry but there's no quick fix - HTML tables aren't supported as they'd end up breaking the site - the posts are displayed within a Table ..

The best alernative is to post the results a text with spaces - wrap the results in 'code' tags and you should be OK.

I've removed your test posts as well :)

Ben.

:D Ok, here's my best effort, if you can't read it use my website results.

Double-click and then maximise or zoom in to see results. This is the best I can manage ](*,)

Edit: Ok, cool 8) it works. If you zoom in far enough you can easily read it! :D

It's a lightweight special. Everything is stripped off it...

Edit: D'oh, the Chick beat me to it by a few seconds!

Yeah, well next year I'll be using a Twincharger hopefully! So you won't be so lucky next time! :P

Failing that I'll be using +100 bhp's worth of NOS!

Great to meet you Alex, your setup is certainly a bit different to say the least!

Please keep us informed of any further developments, I am really interested!

Well looking at how long it has taken Toni to get her twincharger up an running I dont think I will have to worry too much for at least a couple of years! :)

A +100 Bhp worth of NOS on the other hand might have me worried.....but you will still have to keep the thing together [-o<

I like to keep my cars a bit different...as you noticed....and it is for that very reason I wont be going twin charged or even just turbo and I have never been a fan of NOS....so I will be sticking with the stock supercharger.....and :-#

I am begining to pile together all the parts I will need...and plan to have at least the basic set up ready for next spring/summer I'm not going to say too much more at this stage but needless to say it will no doubt be a bit on the 'different' side of things...providing I can make it all work that is!

Errm mine will be a real D-I-Y Twincharger arrangement, nothing like Toni's at all....

It's a real shame I didn't get a second run with my +25 jetting. On a Supercharged engine it's supposed to be worth between 40 and 60 hp (I am sure you will know why). I've run it on the road but it doesn't feel as much as that.

 Typical! Anyway I think I might know what you are on about  I'll PM you and hopefully you'll confirm
