MR2 fan looking to get another!!

Hi everyone. I'm Pete and I've owned two MR2 Turbo's in the past. The first one being a Black Tin Top GT-S (K941 DTM) and secondly a Red Turbo T-Bar (J640 WVN). I'm a member over on the MR2 Owners Club but this one seems more active so thought I'd join.

I've got some photo's of my second MR2 but it won't let me upload URL's as this will be my first post I'm guessing.

I'd love to know where J640 WVN is now!!

Anyway that was four years ago and I've now moved house and have some storage space so I'm looking for another Turbo T-Bar as a summer car. If anyone has a black or red Turbo T-Bar coming up for sale please get in touch.

Now I've paid my Membership thought I'd add a few photo's of my old MR2.

Still looking for the right Turbo T-Bar to come up for sale.......trying to be patient!!

I had it as a second car and kept it at my parents. My Dad then bought his third car and there wasn't really room to keep mine.

It also had some issues. I took it to a specialist in Lincoln to get their opinion on the engine as it wasn't running right. They couldn't pin point the issue straight away and said it could get expensive. Respray wasn't the best and also some niggly electrical problems.

Wish i had it back now I've got the time, space and money for something like this again.

I ended up swapping it for an Impreza with a guy from Wales

Keep looking on here, eBay is hit and miss, worth discussing an eBay add if you find something you like. Some cars would have been on here before some may know it's history.

Thanks shane34. I'd seen one on eBay last week and was so close to buying but thought I'd ask on here first. Turns out it may have been overpriced and someone else bought it. Glad i asked for experienced opinions first

Just had a look and J640 WVN ran out of mot in September 2015 so might still be about in storage or something but your other one, K941 DTM ran out January 2011

Good luck with the search, I'm sure you will find a good one at some point
