Engine bay cover won't open

Post by milesy_boy »

Hi, my 2 has been lying for a few years outside and hasn't turned a wheel. So now I'm try to move it and beside the brakes stuck on the engine bay won't open. Any ideas or tips before the grinder comes out guys??

TIA

Try pushing down on the cover as somebody pulls the lever.

Also may be possible to squirt some WD40 in the direction of the catch.
