arch rolling
i need my rear arches rolled i have fitted spacer and they are ever so slightly rubbing if my car dips a little on the road any recomendations for birmingham or as close as ive tried arch enemy but the dont cover birmingham they will only come down this far if theres a gruop to do
Re: arch rolling
Do it yourself.
A rubber mallet and a heat gun.

Heat the guard up around the lip really really well, then flatten the inner lip upwards.
That will be all you need to do, it's literally a 10 minute job each side.

ent got it in me to take a hammer to it

i can buy a roller that bolts to the hub and go about it that way but i havent done it before i just had a complete respray i should have done it before but i didnt think of the the spacers until afterwards for a wider flush look

shot myself in the foot really

Re: arch rolling
I bought a cheap roller from ebay and rolled my own arches recently.
Can't say I did a great job, partly because I couldn't figure out how to adjust the roller to get the right angle on the arch.
I ended up flaking a fair bit paint off the inside of the arch
(which I resprayed with a rattle can because, honestly, who's looking at the paint job on the inside of my arches?).
I've heard applying heat helps the paint not crack, but that wasn't an option at the moment I had the roller out and on 22 year old paintwork I suspect it wouldn't have made a difference either way.

I say all this because I would totally have said
"buy a
£50 roller and do it yourself" but my experience of doing that wasn't great and I wouldn't risk a brand new paint job on it.

Personally, I'd ask the bodyshop who painted your car if they can do it.

i considered the roller off ebay ive youtubed a few vids and it looked simple enough but with your input i wont bother with that so cheers for the heads up i messaged about 30 companies tonight so im just waiting for some replies if i get someone ill put up a post for anyone else this side of the midlands
Re: arch rolling
It won't actually be the arches you need to roll, just the little lip inside.
I was dubious about taking even a rubber mallet to mine but as long as you get the paint hot enough it won't crack.

Heating definitely works.

Re: arch rolling
Just take a trip down to Oxford and get arch enemy to do it in a car park or something
