As the title says, I've just swapped the window mechanism on my rev3 from a rev5 as the window motor mounts were snapped on the original.
Anyway just finished putting it all back together and I noticed when the door is open and I roll the window up it comes up a bit too far
(through the wing mirror plastic) this means I can't close the door as the glass hits the rubber on the roof/pillar.If I close the window with the door closed it works fine as I guess the window senses it can't go any higher.
I'm a bit worried one day someone will be driving my car (or I may forget) and put the window up while the door is open then shut the door which could possibly result in a shattered window!Is there any form of adjustment I can do or any ideas on why its happy to rise as it pleases?
There's slight play in the window so I can pull it up whilst its still in the mechanism, not sure if that helps.
