Pictures of "tidy" water methanol kit setups

Post by Odin_S »

I've just got mine all installed to the right of the boot.

Just would like to see other owner's tidy setups with the boot carpet installed if possible. I'm looking to cut the carpet to the RHS because the tank is there and the carpet won't go over the tank and look good. :-k

Mine (if it makes any difference) is the Aquamist system.

You only really need to cut holes for the wiring, bolts and water pipe, can cut these behind said apparatus and job will be a good one

Just out of interest, why did you decide you needed water injection ?

I'll look into it when I have time, thanks dude :thumleft:

I decided to go WI after a long talk with Adrian from Fensport. I don't have to tell you his knowledge on the 3S-GTE.

Anyway he said going charge cooler (which i was ready to do) was not worth the gains you get. Water methanol injection is much better for a road car.

So i got the best one being Aquamist and it's controlled by the Link G4. He apparently got 3 degrees of ignition (whatever that means  ) at the same boost level 1.4-1.5bar. I need to get on the rollers but it feels crazy fast now.

It has good failsafes, one map while on 50/50 mix and pulls timing if the WI is not on.

So first impressions are good
