These rims are actually mine from my TRD kit,i threw them on for mock up, the customer has chosen some 18x10 Lenso D1Rs from a 350z.

D1Rs will look awesome! That's what I run on with the AbFlug kit. A very tidy wheel

Right- so presumably (s)he's got some fat spacers to go on then? I was expecting 18x15 or sommit crazy looking at those arches!

Yes there's 4" hubcentric ones on the rear, although I've seen an Mr2 Ferrari replica with 8" rear spacers!

I thought my 60mm ones were big
Re: [Mk2] [Generic] WS Widebody
Sounds like what the Porsche boys do when they do GT3 replicas- 4 - 5" spacers at the back...why they don't just buy the right offset wheels to begin with I can't work out...guess they don't like the dished look

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] WS Widebody
That's pretty much it, some people don't like the dished look, so the only option is spacers or wheels with a big mounting boss.
There's nothing wrong with spacers per say as long as they are hubcentric and properly engineered.

My car runs with no issues whatsoever with them on. The only thing that put me off was the horror stories on forums. In reality there's no problem at all.
