Removing Turbo-IC intake pipe and Intercooler-throttle body pipe

Post by mr299ron »

Hi guys,

If I would want to remove/replace the Turbo to intercooler intake pipe, and/or the intercooler to throttle body pipe, would I need to consider bleeding the system, or can I just go ahead and remove the pipes and not worry about anything?

I take it I would only need to perform a flush/bleed if I replaced the IC.

Cheers

The ic piping will only ever contain pressurised air from the turbo.
There are no liquids to worry about from turbo to the tb inlet.

However the TB itself does have a couple of small coolant pipes, but doesn't sound like you want to remove that.

The intercooler also again is air only.
Nothing to bleed.
