Where to buy TD06 gasket?

Post by CalMac »

It's listed on the ATS site as a T3 inlet gasket, but of course shipping from the states for an $8 gasket is going to be mad, if they'll even send it!

Will any 'T3' gasket fit? Such as http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/T3-T34-T35-T3 ... 259da02d86

Do I need to shell out for any particular brand?

Thanks

its really important to get a good quality gasket. the real one is part metal. the dimpled silver ones on ebay .[demon motorsport or whatever] will disintegrate and go through the turbo into the engine . I know. buy a good one whatever it costs. I don't know where to get one for that turbo cause ive got a proper Toyota one .

I bought a cometic one from here for my TD05
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/COMETIC-GARRE ... 1631152897

However I managed to blow one of these after a few trackdays. Not sure what other makes to try tbh, Cometic are meant to be pretty decent

That is unusual, they seem to be the go-to manufacturer for upgraded head gaskets :-k

Screw it, I'll try one and hope it lasts. Not like it's an uber-cheap Ebay gasket! Thanks :thumleft:
