oh i gotcha, yeah i understand now, but what i said still is true, the belt doesn't seem to slide back into the receiver and isn't helped by the twisting of the belt as shown in the pic.

could anything be seized inside or faulty ?

If it sticks even after opening the door i would suggest removing the b pillar surround and taking a look at the mechanics....maybe a bit of lube can help...maybe you will have to compress the spring.
