What's it worth.

OK I posted this previously but was taken down due me now being a premium member.

Yesterday I finally pulled out the Rev2 lump and box out of my other car. It's apparently got forged pistons but my finding once removing the sump were inconclusive. There are marking on the back of them but I can't make them out.

Anyway the engine was putting out around 280hp roughly, 100ks showing on the clocks but they're a mixture of miles and KM's. I couldn't say for sure how much mileage it's actually done. It has been sat a while admittingly.

Now lets talk money, engine, loom, ecu with FCD and a manual boost controller plumbed in. What sort of money do they fetch?

And how about the gearboxes with drive shafts? It has an RPS clutch installed as well if that adds.

not much really, outruns lay around a while before going and that had plenty of history showing a good engine with low milage, plenty of servicing , steel head gasket etc
I may be wrong but I think it was about £250 ish

Christ really? The clutch alone cost more than that new.

That was just the engine though no loom or ecu or turbo or alt but every thing else like injectors etc.

his gearbox etc went separately too.
