Afternoon, any body shop repairs in the Teesside area that can sort out rusty sills (welding and paint)and how much I should be looking at paying?

Bit of a drive, but Peter @ sbits has repaired a few MK2 sills. He also has a painter on site.

I recommend Peter Gidden too. He's never actually seen my car but the man knows pretty much everything about MR2's

You might end up so impressed with Pete's work that you just hand your pay packet straight over to him at the end of the month like RedMr2 here does..

Alan uk works in a bodyshop and is in teeside, my personal recommendation would be woodsport, pauls near Spennymoor and has full bodyshop facilities.

Id also recommend peter but paul being in your area is a good chance for you to meet a very good local specialist

Sill work is finished!

The sill was ground down to bare metal to see how far the tin worm had spread:



This was then all cut out leaving nothing but shiny metal, and the sill piece cut to suit:



And welded in place, and finished off:





Both sills are now free of rust and solid.
