Im now in a 2000plate Subaru Impreza turbo
It is really boring though and far too loud so will be shifting that soon, the next project is to get the Celica GT4 up to scratch and hopefully have that as my daily

It just grips corners too well, just not into that as theres literally no fun to be had!
Also its the loudest thing on earth
It will be a month or so before i consider moving it on though as i need to fix the GT4 and have that mot'd

You'll find the handling of the gt4 virtually the same as the subaru. i chose my old gt4 due to the styling and the interior being far nicer alongside the rarity of gt4's.

Drive ability wise i found little difference between the impreza sti, gt4 and evo i test drove at the time before choosing the gt4. The gt4 is the most civilised of the 3 day to day too

have to agree with the above.. if you find the impreza boring.. don't bother with the gt4..
If that's a wrx then the gt4 will be slower and there isn't much " fun" to be had from the gt4 you can't find in the impreza.. if anything i found the impreza more fun as you got more turbo shove from it..

To be fair i am expecting the GT4 to be boring however i like the fact it is a rarity compared to the impreza, aswell as much better looking and it feels like it sits lower.
If i do get bored ill get back in the mr2 again but ive got a few cars im aiming to get by this time next year that are far from boring

Had enough of the subaru so decided to get the mr2 back out just in time for the good weather and decided ill be making it a bit of a project with small steps and on budget.

Started off by tcutting and waxing the car then a nice hoon out the back roads yesterday:

Changed some hoses in engine bay, some sanding down of metal parts and a bit of a clean up, small steps though

Obsession has kicked in, lookibg another mr2 for spares as a building project on my mr2
However on lunch a couple of days ago ironicly i seen one sitting derelict in front of a garage in a private drive, it has been neglected to say the least.
Tyres all flat, paint is covered in mould and glass cant even been seen through by the amount of dirt on it!
So anyway it had got me thinking its possibly on google maps and so it was:



So ill be writing a note to leave on the car or through the letterbox in next couple of days
On point, going to be seeing a few mr2s over the country in next few weeks

Thanks man, it is a really nice car.. Previous owner deserves alot of credit for what it is
I do have a few things planned to put my own touch on it but its not far off how i would have it looking, always wanted a set of Toms skirts and rear bumper, 1 better with this as it has the diffuser
