[Mk2] [Turbo] Link G3 Fitting

Post by bri0905 »

Hi

Just purchased MartinF's link g3 with map sensor and 800 injectors.

He's kindly supplied it with the loom from ecu right through to the engine so I could either swap them over or see where to modify my loom to fit the link.

What i'd like to do is have a Harness adaptor to plug from my std loom into the link without any cutting of my loom but I don't think link sell them anymore as the g3 is old to them.

So, can I buy the connectors anywhere to make one? Anyone done this?

Any suggestions welcomed.

Bri

I made my own patch harness & housed it in a stock ECU casing. For the connectors, I bought the cheapest ECU I could find and used it for parts.

Housings from toyota (almost all are still available) Terminals from theplugdealer.com, ballanger motorsports or cycleterminal. My selfmade main body loom is made from such parts :-)

Great, didn't think toyota would be able to help.

So they can get me the female connecter as per the bottom of the ecu?

Ahh you see the male connector isn't available directly from toyota :-( I'm pretty sure the whole 3 connector pcb assembly is available from AMP/Tyco but you'd have to ask (theplugdealer may be the best to ask).

Other than that .... what turbonoz wrote!
