Boost gauge
I have a prosport boostgauge fitted to my rev 3, can anyone tell me why its reading nearly 5psi on idle? And how do i fix it? Gauge was fitted when i bought the car its always been at atleast 0 and never goes below

is it calibrating on startup? It should do a sweep then sit at zero, try letting it settle before you actually start the car, I had the same problem with a prosport, if you didn't let the gauge go to zero

Yer it sweeps up and down and used to settle at 0 but its only started playing up yesterday, even with the engine off and the ignition on its currently settled nicely at 6psi.

Not sure how its connected up it was already on when i bought it.

Gunna have a look now but to be honest im not even sure what id be looking for

I had a electronic gauge years ago

If it was the map sensor would you notice a difference in the driving though? As its still driving perfect.

.the boost gauge isnt that old i remember seeing a receipt for a boost gauge plus fitting in the paperwork for about a year ago.
I suppose it could be connected wrong.

But that wouldnt explain why its only just started giving dodgy readings.
