Fog lights without mounting points

Post by Bumble-bee »

Hi guys, I had what I thought was a loose connection on my drivers side fog light so I gave it a whack and it came on again but surely enough it's gone out again and after hitting it fairly hard I've managed to break the mounting points so not only does it not come on its no longer held on :') is there any way of getting them on without mounting points? Or is it better just to get another one?

Thanks

Draven is having the same issues at the moment - he's working on a solution, maybe PM him? :thumleft:

Well finally i've managed to repair my front fog lights with brackets provided by Callum (Mr.Two)

And what they look like on the car

Sorry the pictures are crap my phone isn't very good. The foglight did need a lot of filing and the little ridges on the top of them needed cutting so the bracket fitted in place properly. The brackets also needed a little bit of tinkering to get just right.

Really happy with the result. I had thought about just not having fog lights and was trying to find a non foglight bumper but they only seem to come up miles away. So for now this will do. The addition of the vinyl on the foglights was an idea i got from oldschoolhardcore.

I like that!!! I have yellow bulbs anyway so it matches the yellow car ;) and its still on with cable ties at the moment looks like a wonky tooth! So was it a fiddly job? Because I would like to get mine back in place some time soon :)

It wasn't that fiddly just took a little time. I believe Callum was thinking about making a few more of the brackets. Having a dremel is really a must in other to cut the little grooves out. :thumleft:
