What spark plugs should I buy for My turbo?

Post by masterbateson »

What spark plugs are in favour with you guys at the mo?

Are you happy with good old copper ones or do you crave for more precious metals.

Can you tell the difference do you think?

Cheap plugs changed more often or dear plugs changed more infrequently?

And what the Bleedin hell is all this cold spark plug business? :?

Bog standard copper plugs as recommended in the bgb anything else on a stock engine is a waste of money

Slight deviation here, but rather than starting another thread, do we think this steering wheel will fit my car???

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOYOTA-MR2-RO ... 234c2d5e50

there is an aftermarket one in at the mo and I'd like to go back to original or at least a toyota one.

Like the look of the above.

What does an original one look like? anyone got a pic handy?

The roadster wheel can be fitted to your car, a few MK2 owners have done it.

If you want an oem modern wheel search for nic i think he used a yaris wheel it looks very smart, also search bgb whilst your at it or read some of the threads on the same page as this one there's at least one reference and a link to the bgb there

BGB is the 'Big Green Book', a bit of an inside term amongst Toyota nerds (I include myself in this).

It's a catch all term for the Toyota workshop manuals, you can find some of them online as pdfs.

The one for the 3SGE is here (yeah I know it's blue):

3SGTE:

And some more on the OC :thumleft:

I tend to download a copy as you never know when they will be removed due to Toyota having a hissy fit over it.
