hi im wondering about the traction control system on my car if there is anyone out there who knows about this as i have never seen before its a jap import and the trc is factory anyone else come accross this before? thanks

It was a factory option. It is simply a butterfly valve that sits in front of the intake and reads off of the ABS sensors on the wheels.

thanks i have never seen before is it worth anything to sell as i have no use for it the ecu and trc box will come with it too im not pushed selling just wondering if it would suit someone else or is it outdated?

Can't say i've ever seen one for sale. I'm not really sure that anyone would buy one.

You might be able to sell it. Stick it part for sale section. make sure you put a price. See if you get any bites. :thumleft:

I had traction control on my last MR2 only ever used it once.

Oh and you need to be a premium member to sell stuff.

thanks for the advice it puzzled me that id never seen before im not pushed on selling its just if it was good for someone id sell it you know if there was interest in it thanks for the knowledge i will be sure to sign up for that cheers

The system is primitive and not a desirable option.

I think we've removed the system from all our customers' cars that had it originally fitted.
