where did my thread go? and see the link to it re mr2 clip wanted

Post by masterbateson »

So i posted a thread about what i was hoping to do in order to join in with the turbo club.
see linky
http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=184264

I have viewed another car this week(fri) looking to just buy and jump in, but today I came to an arrangement where I could buy a nice late plate mk2 and convert it.

Obviously I am looking to speak to the peeps within the MK2 section, because generally if you want chips you go to a chip shop.

this sort of thing happens on another site i frequent for another make i am not allowed to mention  and of course there is a lot of heated debating on there when it happens.

Why do mods move threads that are model or mk specific?

Nobody in the mk1 or mk3 sections are likely to be interested in my thread or will be able to help!!!! ](*,)
Neither will anyone in the toyota aygo or auris clubs or sections.
so in case you missed my post because it was moved.

As the title suggests I have a project in mind, and ideally i would like to get all the bits i need together b i start.

So if you happen to have all the bits you need for a NA to Turbo conversion sitting in your cupboard unwanted (like you do) and would like some pound notes.

Rev3 would be great, but I suppose rev2 is more likely.

Shopping list? [Question] [Idea]
engine/gearbox
ecu
loom
gear linkage cables
fuel pump
clutch pedal
????
have i forgot owt?
oh yeah
a turbo engine lid.

Can you help me create a masterpiece [Laughing] [Laughing] [Laughing]

I can see the logic there peter but as you may know yourself, some people don't wander outside of this section.

So you might see why i wanted a post in my target section.

Anyway.

That was kinda the point of this thread.

Those that have parts to sell will often look in the Items Wanted forum.
