I have been looking at some info and it showed a charge cooler for a mr2, think it was a celica 205 jobby.

Anyhoo, some helpfull person had chopped it open so peeps like me could see what gubbins was inside.

Anyway after seeing it I couldn't help but think, surely all this core inside the charge cooler surely gets in the way of airflow?

So am i right in assuming that its a trade off between airflow and air temperature, and the gain in temp gets the edge?

Also am i right in assuming that mr2's came from factory with the side mount intercooler?
Is norm setup a air to air job?

And anyone want to decide if a charge cooler is necessary on a setup under 300bhp or if a intercooler is sufficient.
