Can anyone tell me, what is the unit bolted to the floor of the frunk compartment next to the battery please, as mine has started an intermittent very high.

Hi guys,

Sounds like the electric power steering pump .

Mine has been making that sound for about 3 years but seems absolutely fine.Have a quick check of the fluid level to make sure it's OK.

If you have any audio equipment (amp/wires) in the frunk it will be hell for picking up interference. If that's the case, try moving the wires elsewhere/making them shorter/better earth.
